Notice: Moving from Teams to VooV Meeting
Microsoft has announced that personal Teams accounts will no longer be usable in China as of July 28, 2026.
For this reason, NetChai will discontinue the use of Teams and introduce VooV Meeting (Tencent Meeting) instead.
💡 What is VooV Meeting?
VooV Meeting (Tencent Meeting) is a video meeting tool developed by Tencent, known as the Chinese equivalent of Zoom. It is widely used for school parent meetings, internal and inter-company meetings in China, and meetings between Chinese and overseas companies, making it a very familiar tool in China.
Its sound quality and connection stability are excellent and it is very easy to use, so NetChai had already been planning to adopt it as a lesson tool. Following the announcement that Teams will be discontinued in China, we have decided to adopt it officially as our main lesson tool in place of Teams.
around 12:00 on Monday, July 13, 2026 — from then on, you will be able to use VooV Meeting officially.
We will post another announcement on the site at that time, including how to take your lessons.
Booking and taking lessons on Teams will be available until Friday, July 24. Please install VooV Meeting and create an account before then.
