🙋Who This Is For
This course is for intermediate and advanced learners of Chinese, especially those aiming to pass Pre-Level 1 or Level 1 of the Chuken (Japan's Chinese proficiency test), and those who watch Chinese films and dramas or read Chinese books and want to focus on studying idioms.
📚Textbooks
This course uses NetChai's original chengyu learning materials. Aiming for mastery of nearly 4,000 idioms and common expressions, it is divided into the four courses below.

You will study a total of 3,988 expressions across all courses.

The goal is to understand and use the expressions native speakers use every day by mastering high-frequency idioms.
For exam prep, completing Chinese Idiom Courses 3 and 4 builds vocabulary beyond the level required for Chuken Pre-Level 1 and Level 1.
