Winter 2023 Conversation Group Lessons
Together with the In November and December 2023, Japan-China International Exchange Association and NetChai are co-hosting the Winter 2023 Conversation Group Lessons .
In this course,Level-based conversation groups: Pre-Intermediate (HSK 3–5) and Advanced (HSK 6+), max 6 students per class.
* Each session requires a separate application.
* Open to all — NetChai members, members on leave, trial members, and non-members. (From December 2023)
* Fee: ¥1,500 per lesson (2 hours, including a 10-minute break) .
* Applications close the day before each lesson. Minimum 3 participants required; sessions with 2 or fewer will be canceled.
About the Tutors
Tutors: Tutor Chen and Tutor Wen.
Tutor Chen holds a Ph.D. from Kobe City University of Foreign Studies and has taught Chinese at Shanghai International Studies University, Kwansei Gakuin University, Osaka Sangyo University, and more.
Tutor Wen holds a Ph.D. in modern Chinese from Kobe City University of Foreign Studies and has taught Chinese at Osaka Sangyo University.
Lesson content
Lessons draw onafter self-introductions, lessons draw on Chinese readings, themed conversation, trending vocabulary, video listening, and dictation (tingxie)drawn from a selection of materials chosen by the tutor. Goals: strengthen conversation at your level, build vocabulary and expressions, and stay motivated by learning alongside others.
Listen to your classmates, pick up useful phrasing and expressions, and apply them to improve your own Chinese.

* Please keep your webcam on whenever possible.
* Group lessons — please join from a quiet environment.
* Participants who disrupt lessons or disturb others may be barred from future sessions.
* If a student is absent or late, the lesson is canceled 30 minutes after the start time.
* No refunds after payment. You may reschedule to another available date once, up to the day before your lesson.
* Recording is prohibited.
