  • Pick your course and materials with your tutor.
  • The above represents the standard course progression, but you are not required to complete every textbook. Feel free to skip materials based on your current level and areas for improvement.
  • Please note that the stated learning goals are guidelines only. Students who complete the same textbook may reach quite different levels of proficiency depending on their study methods and individual progress.
  • Elementary Course ② & ③ (textbook: "说汉语 Vol. 1 & 2") were added in July 2011 in response to requests from members who found the jump in difficulty between "Chinese Conversation 301" and "Intermediate Spoken Chinese" too steep, and were looking for bridging materials at an intermediate level.
  • At NetChai, our goal is to help students acquire practical, real-world Chinese skills. Our level standards are therefore based on the curriculum used for students studying abroad in China, and are set at a higher difficulty than those of typical Chinese language schools.
