Bio:
Hello, I'm a Kaho from Yunnan. I'm a graduate of Xi'an Translation Academy and hold a Level 1 Japanese Language Proficiency Certificate. I have a bright personality and get along well with people. My interests include cooking, smartphone games, Japanese dramas, and variety shows, which I enjoy watching all the time. I also have an adorable toy poodle that I love. I hope I can be helpful to all our members in their Chinese language studies, and I look forward to communicating with you all. We're waiting for your reservation.

Kahō is currently on break for 6 days from February 8-13.
Student reviews (latest 100):
  • She taught me very kindly and patiently.
  • I feel like there are many Chinese words that I don't pronounce well, such as "泛舟", "河川", "沟渠", "整", and "程". I really need to make more effort to improve!
  • I'm not good at pronouncing "载着", but if the following sentences have good pronunciation of "牛车", it would probably be easier to understand. I think this effort will help improve my Chinese pronunciation ability.
  • It was a very kind and friendly lesson. Thank you so much.
  • I learned that the explanations of "sacrifice" and "conquest" are quite difficult. "Sacrifice" means dedicating one's life to heaven for one's beliefs, and "conquest" means to subdue and suppress. Is that correct?
  • She explained the vocabulary carefully, but it was a bit too polite and I didn't make much progress.
  • Both Japan and China have historical rebellions related to Christianity, namely the Shimabara Rebellion (1637-1638) during the Edo period and the Taiping Rebellion (1851-1864) during the Qing dynasty.
  • Despite being young, they were grounded and easy to understand, with beautiful pronunciation. I was impressed since they're so knowledgeable about Japanese dramas.
  • I learned for the first time that China has the twenty-four solar terms.
  • I find the explanation of the character "正" quite difficult. Can't you hear the "正" in "correct" clearly?
  • I learned new vocabulary words, such as "吃腿了" (ate legs), "魔鬼面" (devil noodles), and "卡路里" (calories).
  • I learned that the character "陈" is explained as "one left ear plus one east".
  • Extremely good.
  • I learned the meaning of "包裹" (bāoguǒ), and beyond "a bundle wrapped in cloth," it also has meanings like "pressure" and "burden".
  • Excellent.
  • Thank you so much for answering my questions so seriously.
  • I learned that the oral expression for "搭乘" (to ride/board) is "坐".
  • I understood that many Chinese people don't know the meaning of "bakufu," so I explained it using Baidu. "The Japanese bakufu was an ancient Japanese central government institution that once held power above the Emperor."
  • I learned a lot about the relationship between China and Pakistan.
  • I find the pronunciation of "jian1yu4" (監獄) to be somewhat difficult for Japanese speakers.
  • I learned about the exam methods for Chinese graduate students, which include preliminary exams and secondary exams.
  • I find it difficult to understand the explanations of individual Chinese words. For example, with characters like the "武" in "武士" or the "具" in "家具", I should be grasping the correct pronunciation.
  • I was able to have enjoyable conversations. The teacher is wonderful.
  • I was able to have a fun conversation. Let's talk again soon.
  • I took a lesson on NetChai. The tutor wove in topics about pets and other things, which made the lesson fun and enjoyable. Since my Chinese level is low, I wasn't able to answer questions well, but I'll keep studying hard. I'd like to take lessons again.
  • Kaho sensei teaches with a relaxed and calm approach, making it very easy to understand. Every time I read a passage, she corrects my pronunciation and I've gained confidence. Thank you so much.
  • Thank you so much for the clear and easy-to-understand lessons!
