Bio:
Hello, I'm a Kumo. I have the same appearance as the First Emperor of China and I'm the original member of an underground band that nobody knows about. I was born in Xi'an, which served as the capital for 13 dynasties and has a long history. My interests are road trips and researching Chinese history. My favorite poet is a scholarly person who once aspired to be modeled after the protagonist of "Dream of the Red Chamber." Whenever I read the classical novel "Dream of the Red Chamber," I become so engrossed that I can't put it down and just keep reading. If you're interested in Chinese history and culture, please come explore it with me. I look forward to meeting you all and thank you in advance for your support.

  • When I saw that kumo's schedule was empty, I felt a bit lonely. But I really like you~! Thank you so much for guiding me so carefully. I wish you good health and smooth work!! Looking forward to seeing you again.
  • Thank you so much, Teacher Cui, for everything so far.
  • I'm very grateful today. I want to continue working hard.
  • I apologize for the trouble caused by poor connectivity on my end during the lesson. Since I'm a beginner, I asked for guidance on how I should study going forward, and the tutor kindly taught me.
  • Thank you so much for teaching me various things again this time. I'm very happy to have learned things I didn't know before, and it's been incredibly fulfilling. I look forward to working with you again next time.
  • The tutor explained various points to help me understand the meanings of difficult textbook questions that I couldn't grasp on my own. I also learned new expressions through those explanations. Thank you so much for accommodating me right up until the end of the lesson time. I look forward to working with you next time.
  • Following up from last time, you taught me various aspects of the parts I didn't understand this time as well. I'll review what I learned today and put it to use going forward. Thank you so much.
  • I took my first lesson with NetChai. The tutor's pronunciation is beautiful, and they explained things in simple terms that suited my listening ability, which struggles with Chinese. I was also grateful that they included explanations in Japanese during the lesson. Thank you so much.
  • The tutor taught me very cheerfully and politely, and I think they are a very passionate teacher! I look forward to taking lessons with you again! ^ ^
  • Kumo sensei has a wide range of topics to discuss, and he explains things in a way that's easy for me to understand, so every lesson is enjoyable. His Chinese is easy to listen to, and his speaking pace is just right for me.
  • This was my first time seriously tackling conversation practice based on textbooks. My tutor also taught me about Chinese culture and customs, which made studying really enjoyable. Thank you so much. I look forward to our next lesson.
  • Today, my tutor taught me about the history of Xi'an. She explained everything in clear and easy-to-understand Chinese, so I was able to follow along better than I expected. It was so much fun! Thank you so much!!
  • It was my first lesson today. The tutor spoke in very easy-to-understand Chinese and let me listen to many fascinating stories. Thank you so much!
  • The pronunciation of "e" is difficult, isn't it? Even though I think I'm pronouncing it correctly myself, it doesn't seem to come across to the other person. I'm reconsidering how to improve. Besides that, thank you so much for teaching me so many things. I look forward to our next lesson.
  • Thank you so much for pointing out the places where my pronunciation was off. When I couldn't pronounce things well even after being taught, I really appreciated the advice you gave me, like comparing it to similar sounds in Japanese. It was so helpful!
  • Thank you for teaching me so much about China! It was really enjoyable. Your speaking pace was just right, which made it easy to study.
  • ・Skype communication was sometimes delayed. ・Since I couldn't hear the Chinese well, the tutor explained in Japanese, but I was dissatisfied because I couldn't practice my listening skills.
  • There were some difficult vocabulary words, but the teacher patiently repeated the pronunciation for me over and over again. Even when the lesson ran a bit over time, the teacher stayed with me until we reached a good stopping point, which was really appreciated. This was my first lesson, but the teacher is so polite and wonderful!
  • I studied with my teacher using news articles. The teacher carefully checked my pronunciation. It was my first time taking an evening lesson, and my head wasn't quite sharp, but the teacher patiently taught me throughout the lesson. I'll do my best to improve further. Thank you so much!
  • Rather than saying a simple "Yes" or "No," I appreciated how the tutor gave nuanced responses that showed me Japanese and Chinese speakers think the same way about certain things. I learned this through the textbook content (Business Chinese Elementary Level Oral Chinese (Part 1) Lesson 11). Going beyond the textbook framework and teaching such developmental content really helps. Thank you so much.
  • Thank you for teaching me down to the finest details! I think it's difficult to learn so much in such a short time, but you reviewed the material with me many times and it was great!
  • I struggled with the pronunciation of "an" and "ang", but even when I went a bit over time, the tutor patiently corrected me. It was really helpful.
  • It was my first time, but the tutor was very helpful in teaching me the proper pronunciation until I got it right.
  • It was a bright and enjoyable lesson. Thank you so much. I look forward to continuing.
  • The teacher is very knowledgeable about history and culture, and explains things in an easy-to-understand pace that's great for listening and comprehension!
