Bio:
Hello everyone, I'm Meina and I'm pleased to meet you. I'm from Heilongjiang Province in the far north of China.
My major at university is Japanese, and for the past three years I've been working at a Japanese company in Dalian.
I'm a passionate person by nature, and I'm committed to becoming a wonderful language teacher.
My Japanese level is only N2, but I will continue to study Japanese earnestly from here on.
My hobbies are singing songs and cooking, and I also really love Japanese dramas. Teaching Chinese to everyone is something I'm very proud of, so please allow me to do my best. I'm looking forward to your bookings.

Student reviews (latest 100):
  • Thank you so much for chatting with me about the parts I couldn't understand!
  • When explaining unfamiliar vocabulary to me, the tutor explains synonyms, usage contexts, antonyms, and whether the word is formal or informal in a very clear and meaningful way. I was truly moved by these thoughtful lessons.
  • Thank you so much for teaching me so many things again this time. Most of the lessons are conducted in Chinese, which makes listening comprehension challenging, but as I practice repeatedly, I'm gradually getting used to it. I'll continue studying hard to increase the amount of content I can understand.
  • I had a free trial lesson, and the tutor spoke to me in a way that matched my level, which was really great.
  • The tutor spoke at a pace that suited me perfectly, making the lessons enjoyable.
  • I've been feeling a bit down lately.
  • I learned a new expression and vocabulary word, which is "to turn up one's nose."
  • I learned about my hometown dish from the Heilongjiang region, which is "pot-wrapped meat".
  • Thank you so much for teaching me so many different things this time as well. Almost everything was conducted in Chinese, but compared to last time, I feel like I'm gradually able to understand what's being said. I look forward to our next lesson.
  • I learned new vocabulary words like "直径" (diameter), "妨碍" (hinder), "印章" (seal), and "标志" (mark).
  • Actually, I don't know the relationship between Liu Bei and Yuan Shao. Are they friends or enemies?
  • I learned a new vocabulary word, "惠意" (huì yì), which should mean something like "快乐" (happiness), right!
  • I had them teach me in a fun way, even the parts I didn't understand. They are a wonderful teacher who is bright and always smiling.
  • The explanation of "honorifics" is quite difficult!
  • I learned new vocabulary, specifically "出人头地" (to stand out) and "混出名堂" (to make a name for oneself).
  • The Chinese pronunciation is so clear that I can understand it very well even without Japanese explanations.
  • I learned the pronunciation of "yan li" and "xian yu", but they are quite difficult for Japanese speakers.
  • I learned new vocabulary words like "purple vegetable rice bowl" and "sushi roll".
  • Thank you so much! I'm having a great time studying Chinese and really enjoying it! ^_^
  • She was a wonderful teacher. Thank you so much for the lessons!
  • I learned the explanation of the character "珍" (zhēn), which means "precious," "valuable," and "rare" - the "珍" in words like "珍宝" (treasure), "珍贵" (precious), and "珍惜" (to cherish).
  • There are two ways to prepare Japanese-style beef hot pot: "Kanto style" and "Kansai style".
  • I learned new vocabulary, specifically "evidence" and "proof".
  • Japan's three major Inari shrines are the Fushimi Inari Taisha in Kyoto, the Takeda Inari Shrine in Saga Prefecture, and the Hatanaka Inari Shrine in Ibaraki Prefecture.
  • I remember the pronunciation method of "伊" - it's the "伊" from "伊朗" (Iran).
  • I learned how to express things in Chinese, like saying "riding on the back of a sea turtle."
  • At the beginning of each lesson, the tutor always starts with free conversation in Chinese, which is so much fun! ^_^ It's still difficult to express what I want to say in Chinese, but I'll keep taking lessons like this and work hard to pass the HHSK Speaking Elementary level by October! ^_^
  • I'm really enjoying the lessons! I'd like to continue and keep studying Chinese with Meina sensei! ^_^
  • I learned about famous Chinese teas, namely "West Lake Longjing" and "Yunnan Pu-erh tea".
  • I have been taking lessons since my first class. Overall, I think the tutor deserves the highest rating. I am an HSK 2 holder, but I started from a state where I couldn't speak Chinese at all. It's been just over a week since I started with a beginner class. Little by little, I've come to understand the meaning and be able to pronounce correctly. And the teacher's teaching method is very skillful. After explaining in basic Chinese, if students can't understand, the teacher kindly explains in Japanese, which is very helpful during lessons centered on Chinese. Personally, I want to hear so much Chinese overflowing, so I am very much enjoying the lessons. Furthermore, at the beginning of each lesson, we start with light small talk in Chinese, so although I am asked irregular questions, it is very fun and becomes a motivation to study Chinese! ^_^ From now on, I would like to study Chinese together with Meina-sensei and grow to the point where I can understand the meaning of ATC without any problems even in the vast space of China, raising the safety margin. ^_^ Thank you in advance. ^_^
  • I learned that the Great Xing'an Mountains in Heilongjiang are a famous place for pine trees.
  • Following up from last time, I was able to enjoy the lesson again this time as well. Most of it was focused on Chinese language practice again. Since the pronunciation is so clear, I can understand the general meaning even when I can't catch every word. Thank you so much. I look forward to our next lesson.
  • I learned new vocabulary words, specifically "Forbidden City" and "Purple Forbidden City".
  • I had already forgotten a vocabulary word, which was "princess".
  • I learned about Chinese specialties, which are "香水柠檬" (fragrant water lemon) and "迁西板栗" (Qianxi chestnut).
  • Thank you for speaking Chinese with me casually and for flowing text through the chat whenever I didn't understand. When using textbooks, I really appreciated you checking my pronunciation as well. Thank you so much.
  • I learned a new vocabulary word, which is "大纲" (dàgāng). The Japanese meaning is "あらすじ" (arasuji).
  • I studied about Chinese winter sports athletes.
  • I took a lesson for the first time. This is a teacher who teaches me devotedly throughout my life. It was almost entirely a lesson in Chinese, but because the pronunciation is beautiful and they speak using simple vocabulary, I was able to receive the lesson without any problems. Thank you so much.

  • I'm a beginner, but I was able to have enjoyable conversations. The teacher is very bright and encouraging.
  • I can learn new colloquial expressions in Shang Meilun's lessons, and it's great how they can transform into proper written Chinese. Starting off on the right foot, I'm studying hard every day and making steady progress.
  • Today's lesson with you was also very rewarding. The main thing is that we had so many topics to discuss together, and time really flew by—happy moments always seem to pass too quickly.
  • She is a very bright and easy-to-understand teacher. The conversations never run out of topics. And she is beautiful too. I would be delighted to have her as my teacher again tomorrow.
