Bio:: Hello everyone, this is my first time. My name is Shio. I studied Chinese Language and Literature at Beijing Language and Culture University. I have over 2 years of experience as an international student in Japan, and I have obtained the Japanese Language Proficiency Test Level 1 certification and the Chinese-Japanese International Translation Certificate. My hobbies include watching videos and YouTube, as well as playing sports—playing badminton every week is the most enjoyable thing for me. This time, I'd like to learn Chinese together with everyone who is interested in Chinese, and let's discover the charm of the Chinese language together. I look forward to working with you. I was always able to have enjoyable free-talk sessions with the tutor.
Through conversations about weddings, I learned about various Chinese customs and traditions, which was wonderful. The speaking pace is also just right.
"Tang-in" is a dish where fish meat is placed on the surface of hot broth, heated further, and then placed in cold water to remove the fishy smell. Suitable white fish are flounder and pollock, which are delicious eaten with vinegar and soy sauce.
In the lesson, I learned the subtle difference between "交通要塞" and "交通栓纽", and I was also sorry that Skype had some connection issues along the way.
I requested a free trial lesson. I was able to have a fun and enjoyable conversation.
The characters related to Grayfia's Garden are "Butterfly Madam" and "Sakamoto Ryuma". If you're interested, please look them up yourself.
In class, I learned a new vocabulary word, which is "稀you2　ウラン".
The teacher seems to understand the content I introduced in class to a fairly good degree, and I'm sure they were pleased. However, since my Chinese pronunciation still needs work, I should make more effort on my part.

Bookings open up to 2 hours before the lesson OK.
Cancel up to 1 hour before lesson , press the cancel button. Cancellation closes 1 hour before the lesson — after that, notify your tutor via Teams chat.
In unavoidable circumstances, a lesson may be canceled by the tutor. If the lesson can no longer be held that day, our customer support team will arrange a substitute tutor or reschedule the lesson.
At the start of the lesson, your tutor will call you on Teams, so please log in to Teams and wait. (If your status is not online, the call from your tutor may not connect.)
If the tutor is unable to reach you within 10 minutes after the lesson start time, the lesson will be treated as an absence and canceled.
If your tutor hasn't called within 1 minute of the start time , please call your tutor instead. Depending on Teams status, their call may not connect. (Their Microsoft account is in your booking list on My Page.) If you cannot reach them, contact Contact Form to contact us.
Occasionally, tutors may face issues such as power outages or network failures. We respond as quickly as possible, but if multiple tutors are affected at once, there may be a delay. In that case, your lesson will be rescheduled — please contact Customer Support.
Support via Teams is limited to cases in which our customer support team needs to contact you in an emergency.
