  • I'm stubborn, you know. But when I come back, I want to take lessons with you again!
  • Thank you so much! Wishing you all the best in your new job! We'll definitely see each other again soon~

  • Sorry for the confusion, but there's another castle near唐津城 called "名護屋城", and in Japanese it's pronounced "なごやじょう" - it has the same Japanese pronunciation as Nagoya Castle!

  • We recently discovered that the Japanese character for 鮎 (ayu) means sweetfish, but the Chinese character 鮎 means catfish - they're completely different types of fish! If you have time, you should look up pictures of both. Grilled sweetfish is one of the summer delights of Japan.
  • After the lesson, I looked it up and found out that "花冬菇" is the highest grade of shiitake mushroom, so "花冬菇" must be a type of shiitake mushroom!
  • In class, I learned a set of words with interesting meanings, namely "风韵" (charm), "流行" (popular), "红" (red), and "火" (fire).
  • In class, I learned the difference between vocabularies. "烹饪" (cooking) is used when cooking dishes specifically in China, while "料理" (cuisine) is a word used only when using external ingredients, such as "Japanese cuisine", "Korean cuisine", and "French cuisine" etc.
  • Extremely good
  • In class, I learned a new vocabulary phrase, "foreign exchange trading." I actually only started doing it recently, and everyone says it's quite risky. But if you manage your leverage carefully, it's not so dangerous. It's really interesting!
  • In class, I learned a new word "头衔" (tóux衔, meaning title/position). I thought the title itself isn't that important; what really matters is your actual ability.
  • During the lesson, I learned new vocabulary words, namely "神舟" (Shenzhou) and "橱窗" (display window).
  • After the lesson, I confirmed it on the map - Anshun is a suburb of Guiyang, a major city! It's in the expensive area!
  • It's related to Nuno Cloth Hot Spring and Aburaya Kumahachi, and their related sake brewery is now expanding throughout Japan.

  • The free talk progression is handled skillfully, and the tutor guides me well so that I can have natural conversations. By talking with the tutor regularly, I can really feel my improvement.
  • A specialist in red wine is a 'wine master'!

  • During the lesson, I explained about Japanese religious beliefs, and at that time I learned some vocabulary that had been vague in my memory, specifically "仏像" (Buddhist statue) and "牌位" (ancestral tablet).
  • Whenever I encounter unfamiliar words, the tutor teaches me example sentences using those words, and is always very patient in their instruction.
  • The explanations are easy to understand. It's very motivating to study!

  • The corrections on pronunciation and grammar points in the textbook were delivered very smoothly, and 50 minutes flew by in no time. With lessons like this, I feel motivated to keep studying. • I think the issue may be on my end with my connection, but we had lessons where the communication speed was slow and I could only hear the voice. The tutor was very polite in responding to this situation. I would appreciate your help.
