Bio:
Hello everyone, I'm introducing myself for the first time. My name is Meg. I'm from Henan Province in China.
At university, I specialized in Japanese, which I was passionate about, and I really love Japanese dramas.
After graduation, I've consistently worked in Japanese translation-related positions, and now I'm aiming to become an excellent Chinese teacher.
My hobby is going out to places where my heart feels at ease, and when I find scenery that catches my eye, I like to sketch it. I enjoy feeling the charm of nature.
I look forward to your support going forward. I'm looking forward to enjoying learning together with all of you. Thank you!

Meg's lessons will begin on June 16, 2025.
Student reviews (latest 100):
  • Today, I studied the important vocabulary for "shopping" in the thirty-seventh lesson and had a casual chat as well. I also learned that there is about a one-hour time difference between where my tutor is located and where I am.
  • Today, I studied the main text and key vocabulary from the 35th lesson on "Buying Souvenirs," and asked the teacher questions about it. The teacher taught me about a famous jade from China and even showed me photos. It looked really cool, though it was a bit pricey.
  • Today, I studied the text "Buying a Souvenir" from lesson thirty-five. There was a term "藍田玉" (Lantian jade) in the text that I didn't understand at first, but the teacher explained it while showing me photos, which made it very easy to understand.
  • Today, I learned the idiomatic phrases for "taking a commemorative photo" in the thirty-fourth lesson, and I was also able to answer the teacher's questions. I didn't understand what "一眼レフカメラ" meant at first, but the teacher explained it to me carefully, and I finally understood what it was.
  • Today, I studied the important vocabulary and main text of the thirty-fourth lesson, "Taking a Commemorative Photo." I learned that in China, when saying "yes, cheese," they use "nǎs" (拿丝), which sounds quite similar to the Japanese word "cheese" (チーズ).
  • Today, I studied the main text and common phrases of lesson thirty-three, "sightseeing," as well as the question section. In a place where I had actually been before, I was asked about my favorite spot, which was a bit embarrassing, but I was able to talk abundantly in Chinese about the wonderful things about that place.
  • Today, I studied the important vocabulary and main text of lesson 33, "sightseeing." Among the important vocabulary, I was delighted to discover words I had seen before as well as new words that I had never encountered in Chinese despite having them in Japanese. It was really enjoyable.
  • Today, I learned the colloquial phrase "check out" from lesson thirty-two. I was able to convey to the teacher my own thoughts and impressions related to the words in the colloquial phrase in Chinese.
  • Today, I learned the key phrases from Lesson 31 about "Hotel Services" and studied the main text and important vocabulary from Lesson 32 "Check Out". My tutor explained words I didn't understand in detail, making them easy to comprehend.
  • At first, I talked about my recent school, specifically about boys' schools and girls' schools. It seems that China, like Japan, has many coeducational schools.
  • Today, I studied important vocabulary, main text, and common phrases from lesson 31 on "Hotel Services". I was worried about whether I could answer the Japanese translations of the main text correctly, but I was pleasantly surprised to be able to answer almost without any mistakes.
  • Today was my first lesson with this teacher, and they properly introduced themselves and explained about the countries they've visited and what they've accomplished there. Compared to before, I could really feel that my Chinese has improved.
  • I was able to have a really enjoyable free talk lesson. Thank you so much.
