Bio:
Hello everyone, my name is Xiuhe. I'm from Liaoning Province. I majored in Japanese at university and graduated from Niigata University's graduate program. I lived in Japan for 6 years, and through daily life and interactions with people, I gained unforgettable experiences—not just through studying, but through real living. As a NetChai instructor, I draw on my experience learning Japanese and living in Japan to teach Chinese in a way that's easy to understand. I would be delighted if I could be of any help with your studies. Please feel free to take a lesson with me. I look forward to meeting you.
Recent updates:
Teacher Xiu will start lessons from December 29, 2025.
Student reviews (latest 100):
  • Thank you so much for the pronunciation guidance!
  • Today, I studied verses 36 to 39 of the "Absolutely Memorize! 100 Chinese Idioms." I found it interesting that the way "brain juice" is used differed between Japanese and Chinese.
  • Today, we talked about our favorite flowers, studying, and exercise. When the teacher came to Japan and saw the tulips, they were so beautiful that I thought they were artificial flowers because the colors were so good.
  • This time, too, we had a fun conversation
  • Today, I studied passages 27 to 35 of the "Absolutely Memorable! 100 Chinese Idioms." There were some quite difficult compound words, but I was able to pronounce them well and remember their meanings.
  • Today, I talked about how learning Chinese often gets mixed up with Japanese, and how difficult it is to distinguish which word is in a long sentence in Chinese. They also taught me countermeasures, so I'll make good use of them!
  • Today, I studied up to lesson 26 of "Definitely Master It! 100 Chinese Sentences." The teacher explained everything very clearly and it was easy to understand.
  • Today, I studied from lesson 19 of "Absolutely Learn It! 100 Chinese Sentences." There was a four-character idiom meaning "sweating profusely," so I asked the teacher about whether the weather gets hot in that direction. The teacher told me that the highest temperature where they are today was apparently 23 degrees.
  • It's always easy to understand and really helps.
  • She teaches in such a bright and wonderful way!
  • Had a fun conversation.
  • In free talk, I spoke only in Chinese and it was good to understand my current level well.
  • This was my first class with Xiu-sensei. The teacher taught me new vocabulary using the textbook and the example sentences were very easy to understand and educational. Thank you, I look forward to studying with you again.
  • In class, I learned Chinese pronunciation, "actor".
