Bio:
Hello everyone, my name is Ougin. I'm passionate about music and even get excited filming videos. Because of my love for music, I've grown to love the Japanese language. After graduating from university, I went to Japan. While I was in Japan, I obtained the Japanese Language Proficiency Test Level 1. Being a Chinese language teacher has been a dream of mine for a long time, and I've finally gotten this opportunity. I believe that as a Chinese language teacher, it's important to have knowledge in various fields, not just the Chinese language itself. I look forward to making progress together with all of you. ^^

Student reviews (latest 100):
  • I'd like to book another lesson!
  • Today, I learned "是~的". The tutor also taught me other useful phrases and expressions besides "是~的" that are easy to understand and actually used in conversation. It really helps! (Thank you!) I look forward to studying with you going forward.
  • I asked for pronunciation guidance today. The tutor kindly pointed out areas where my pronunciation still needs work, such as the differences between 'in' and 'ing', 'z' and 'c', and the 'hot r' sound. I really appreciate the detailed feedback! I'm looking forward to practicing more with you tomorrow as well. ♪
  • Today I continued working on directional complement particles. It's difficult to grasp the nuances, but I'm persisting so that I can communicate them properly!(^^)! Thank you so much for today's lesson!
  • Today, I continued studying directional complements. It's a difficult topic, but the tutor explained the usage and meaning of directional complements very carefully and politely. The image became clear! I want to use them more and more in my daily conversations from now on!
  • Today, you taught me expressions and pronunciation that I had been concerned about. I've also started lessons on directional complements. Directional complements are difficult, but I'd like to continue practicing them from tomorrow onwards. Thank you so much!
  • Today was great because we could have a relaxed and enjoyable conversation♪ Please feel free to chat with me about lots of things!
  • The explanation of the 2 tonal patterns for when 3 tones connect consecutively was very easy to understand. This is the first time I've received such clear and straightforward explanations. When I properly understand and memorize something, I don't forget it. Thank you so much for today as well.
  • Today, you taught me the nuances between similar expressions like "需要 (need)," "要 (want/need)," "应该 (should)," "该 (should)," and "最好 (best)." I really appreciated your empathy with my struggle to speak naturally, and it brightened my mood! You're a young teacher, but you have rich experience and a deep understanding of people's difficulties. I look forward to learning with you going forward!
  • I requested a lesson for the first time. It was a very fulfilling lesson. The teacher is skilled at teaching. The explanations are easy to understand. I would like to request another lesson.
  • Today we continued with resultative complements. There are so many resultative complements to memorize, which is challenging, but I really appreciated how you explained the subtle nuances! We also talked about food and actors, and I had such a great time today! I'm looking forward to our next lesson. ♪
  • Today I learned the continuation of resultative complements. I learned so many expressions just in this one lesson - the differences between 听懂, 没听懂 and 听不懂, between 看 and 看见, as well as 听见, 吃完, 看完, 做完, 说错, 说对... It was a very meaningful hour! Thank you so much, teacher!
  • Today's lesson was great. Teacher Wang teaches so well! I want to become better at speaking Chinese!
  • Today we continued with "比" (comparison). Comparisons are expressions with many difficult nuances, but the tutor explained each character thoroughly and even taught me more advanced ways to express these ideas. It was a very fulfilling lesson!
  • Today I had a "比" lesson. Please always provide grammar explanations that go beyond what's in the textbook. This time, you taught me that "A没有B…" can be expressed as "A does not reach B," and I was amazed at the subtlety of the Japanese language!
  • Today I learned about "快~了" (kuài~le). The teacher always gives detailed explanations of grammar, and then has me practice writing sentences using that grammar. When I think about other sentences, I can apply what I've learned and it really helps my studies. I look forward to continuing with you!
  • Today as well, I had the opportunity to learn about the differences between "了" used with verbs, "了" with measure words, and "了" with adjectives. By teaching me the nuances of these grammatical structures, I'm now able to think about the correct meanings when reading passages or writing compositions. It's really helpful! I look forward to continuing with you!
  • Thank you for teaching me the completed aspect "了" and its actual usage. Through your explanations of vocabulary, you taught me the usage and nuances so well that it was very motivating to study. I look forward to continuing with you!

  • I appreciate that vocabulary input is quite fast, but it would be helpful if difficult words could be entered with pinyin at the same time. I also understand that interaction is important, but since I have limited time for output practice, I would be happy if we could move forward a bit more slowly. The pace was quite fast overall.

  • The tutor's attitude is extremely poor. It seems they only expect advanced learners, and there is no follow-up in their teaching method at all. They point out mistakes from above with an attitude of "this is something you should naturally be able to do." I believe this also has a significant negative impact on other students, so I hope the administrative office will also pay attention to this matter.
