Migrating from Skype to Teams

Skype is discontinued on May 5, 2025. Teams is its replacement.

Students currently using Skype need to switch to Teams by April 30.

Specifically: Step 1: Install Teams → Step 2: Log in → Step 3: Check your Microsoft account → Step 4: Register it on NetChai You need to complete these four steps.

It takes about 5 minutes. Please complete the migration during April.

Step 4: Register your Microsoft account on NetChai

Once you register your Microsoft account on NetChai, your tutor will call you on Teams.

As of April 1, 2025, Skype and Teams are linked. When a tutor calls you on Teams, it rings on both apps (if both are running).

You can answer on either app, but please use Teams whenever possible to get familiar with it.
